Today we welcome Em to our lab! Em is a first-year graduate student in the Program for Experimental and Molecular Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. At Smith, Em conducted research in skeletal muscle proteomics in the Scordilis Lab. In her free time, Em enjoys playing an array of musical instruments (mostly guitar), painting, reading, weightlifting, writing short fiction, and listening to niche educational podcasts.
