Welcome New Thayer PhD Student, Matthew Stoner!

Matthew Stoner is a first-year graduate student at Thayer. Previous to joining Thayer, Matt worked for a start-up company developing novel pathogen detection systems.  Matt has also worked as a research technician in the Jacobs-Wagner lab at Yale University, studying the genetic organization of Borrelia burgdorferi, the Lyme disease spirochete. Prior to joining the workforce, Matt received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut where he was an avid fan of both the Women’s and Men’s basketball teams. Matt enjoys disc golf, rock climbing and hiking.
