Niklas “Nik” Koehne graduated from Dartmouth College in Spring 2022, receiving his BA in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Chemistry. While an undergrad, Nik was involved in liquid biopsy research at the Zhang Research Group and completed his senior thesis at the Kull lab, studying protein interactions in Vibrio cholerae. As a premed, Nik was also a volunteer for Patient Support Corps at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and ski patrolled at the Dartmouth Skiway. At the Lee lab, Nik is especially excited to leverage protein engineering techniques to design next-generation antibody therapies. Outside of research, Nik loves the outdoors, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and chess.
